The Miz is a member of the WWE roster portrayed by Mike Mizanin. A very cocky professional wrestler in nature, Miz claims himself to be awesome and has proved himself many times but all is through cheating in matches. He was already an established television personality but has become more successful as a wrestler. He made his WWE debut in 2006 as a host on Friday Night SmackDown! and eventually became a pro wrestler. The Awesome One found his first success as the tag team partner of John Morrison. Miz separated himself from Morrison by turning on his leader and stopping being his sidekick. Miz then started the campaign of being awesome as a singles star. He went on to win the WWE United States Championship twice as well as the Raw Money in the Bank in 2010. In November 2010, Miz won his first-ever WWE Championship by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract against Randy Orton.However, after losing the WWE Championship in May 2011, Miz formed Awesome Truth with R-Truth as both men had turned on John Morrison and found some initial success by defeating Triple H and CM Punk but started failing as a team after failing to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship from Air Boom and losing to The Rock and John Cena. This caused Miz to get frustrated and turn on R-Truth but began a losing streak that ended in April 2012, when he scored the pinfall victory for Team Johnny against Team Teddy at Wrestlemania.
