Tamsin is a Valkyrie, and Dark Fae. She is a cop, and through that she ends up as a partner to Dyson as a part of a Light and Dark working together program. Although her actual reasons for being there become less clear the more we learn about her.Valkyrie's can inflict powerful doubt among people, sometimes many people at a time. They also take the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla. During the Great War, Tamsin was a mercenary, selling her formidable powers to the highest bidder. She was also a bounty hunter, tracking down Fae for clients. Her mentor was Acacia, another Valkyrie, who showed her the ropes. At this time Tamsin was arrogant and greedy, and she considered herself the best at what she did. Eventually a client wished to hire her to find someone. Initially she refused his payment believing it too small, until she looked him in the face. Much later she would state she had never seen true evil until then. She knew she could not decline his request. It was too find a girl with Eyes both brown and blue, virtuous yet lustful, neither Dark nor Light, yet both. Tamsin didn't want to deliver anybody to this man, but she took comfort that she would probably never find his target anyway. Her bad deeds eventually took their toll on her conscience, as she realized that she was on her last life. After the Blood King defeated Rainer, she tried to take his soul to Valhalla, which she considered her purpose. The Blood King wouldn't let her, and offered a bargain instead. Tamsin would let him have Rainer's soul so that he could curse it, and he would write her a new life. She could use this life to redeem herself. She agreed, but this got Tamsin barred from Valhalla. Knowing she had another life however, let her regain her confidence. Tamsin went back to serving the Dark as a bounty hunter, and as a cop in the human world. That was until The Light and Dark agreed to try an experiment. Partnering a Light Fae cop and a Dark Fae cop together. She was also trying to prove that the unaligned succubus, Bo, was the one behind the attack on a Dark Fae.Tamsin and Dyson didn't see eye to eye on much early on in their partnership. Tamsin also openly expressed her disdain for Bo, and her desire to lock her up. Needless to say, she didn't make any new friends with her aggressive and abrasive attitude. She did momentarily become friends with them when all 3 were infected by a parasite that made them act like immature children. Tamsin was one of the first to recognize Inari's deception after the kitsune kidnapped and then tried to replace Kenzi. This was when she truly began to question her priorities, as she saw how determined Bo was to rescue Kenzi, and she acknowledged her friends wouldn't do that for her. After interrogating and killing the Dark Fae that Bo attacked, she lied to the Morrigan about whether or not Bo was guilty. Tamsin then helped Bo get ready for her Dawning. When Bo had to draw Tarot cards, hers was The Wanderer card. Tamsin was not pleased, because it pretty much confirmed her suspicions that Bo was the woman she was hired to find so many years before. Conflicted by her growing affection for Bo and her fear of her client, she hesitated fulfilling her contract. So Acacia was sent to prod her along. When this didn't work, the Wanderer's minion crows cut off Acacias hand. Tamsin then started with her job, using a potion made by the Druid, Massimo. While still trying to use the potion, she teamed up with Bo after Dyson was kidnapped by Taft. With Massimo's help, she helped free him and other captive Fae. Tamsin and Bo fought after she revealed her mission, but Bo convinced her to stop trying to fulfill it. While driving with Dyson away from Taft's compound, a figure appeared in the road. She then revealed to Dyson that she thought this was her client and Bo's father. She tried to run him over, but he disappeared in a cloud of smoke, and she drove off a cliff. This ended this life.A month later, Dyson found her reborn as a kid. Kenzi was left to watch after her, and as she rapidly grew up, they became friends. Tamsin revealed her that she now had wings, after being kidnapped by Massimo. This meant she was now on her last life. She matured a little slower emotionally then physically, but she slowly returned to form. After coming back from a short absence, she revealed to Bo about who hired her. Acacia came back with a new hand, and tried to convince her to kill Rainer, who was back after Bo broke his curse. Tamsin expressed that she was tired of that life, but wouldn't hesitate to kill him if she knew he was the man who hired her. As Rainer was being written back into history, it was revealed that Rainer was not her client. Tamsin used her doubt to try and stop all of the revenants coming out of the portal to Hel. She fought alongside Dyson and Trick. They were being overwhelmed however. Kenzi then sacrificed herself to close the portal. Tamsin, while distraught over the death of her friend, went along with the plan to take Kenzi to Valhalla. There Kenzi could wait for Bo to come rescue her. Dyson would later find Tamsin at the gates to Valhalla. She was upset, and appeared to have been attacked. She frantically told Dyson not to let Bo find the 2nd Hel shoe.
