He is proficient in all of the skills one would expect of a spy of his caliber including mastery of weapons, driving, and the martial arts. His main interest in his job, however, is the jet-setting lifestyle it affords.Archer is something of a narcissist who displays little empathy towards others. He is callous, egotistical, and self-serving. Although his mother Malory Archer is a constant presence in his life since she is the head of ISIS, he was raised mainly by his valet Woodhouse, whom he gives constant grief.Archer's only true skill outside of spying is apparently lacrosse.He is fond of drinking, tactical turtlenecks, and Burt Reynolds.Archer has a very successful kill rate but his main interest is not justice but selfishness.Although he is deeply flawed Archer has earned the respect of many in the spy community due to his tendency to kill those who cross his path. Although he is often unprepared, he has excellent intuition and could be considered brave, even though that bravery is as likely to result in justice as it is catastrophe.He is fond of making obscure pop culture references but not always as protect of the secret part of his secret agent status, freely sharing his identity, especially with women he finds attractive.
