Glasgow-born Kristine Kochanski was the navigation officer aboard the Space Corps mining ship Red Dwarf and former girlfriend of Dave Lister, whom died in the radiation leak aboard Red Dwarf , which Lister was the sole survivor, after being put into suspended animation. Later, an alternate version of Kochanski from another dimension became a member of the Red Dwarf crew, when Lister, Kryten and Cat discovered a doorway leading to Kochanski's dimension, which Kochanski had been put into suspended animation and Lister had died in the radiation leak, but was brought back as a hardlight hologram and was cut off from her Lister, Cat and Kryten, by an Gelf attack. Alternate Kochanski has a dislike to our Lister and has made a enemy out of Kryten, whom is jealous of her. Almost a decade after a microbe had nearly destroyed Red Dwarf, Alternate Kochanski and Lister had begun a relationship, but Lister had been led to believe, Alternate Kochanski had died, when being sucked out of a airlock, but Kryten revealed that she was very much alive and had dumped him and is out there somewhere in deep space and Kryten hid the truth to spare Lister's feelings. Kochanski was originally played by Clare Grogan, but Chloe Annett took over the role in 1997 and made a cameo in Back to Earth - Kochanski's current wearabouts remain unknown. Show less «
