Portrayed by Mathieu Amalric, Dominic Green is a high-ranking member of the Quantum terrorist organization who is seen as a philanthropic environmentalist in the public eye.He used his connections to assist General Medrano in a coup against the Bolivian government in exchange for ownership of a desert long thought to have no resources. The desert happened to contain 60% of the Bolivian water supply, which Greene dammed inside, beneath it. As a result, Greene doubles the price of water for the new Bolivian government.Abusing his power, Green has done numerous evil acts such as sell Camille Montes to Medrano for sex slavery and murder Bond's lover, Strawberry Fields, by having her drowned in oil.Although James Bond spares his life after they fight in a burning building, he leaves Greene stranded in the desert with a can of motor oil. He was later found dead with numerous bullet wounds and oil in his stomach. It is assumed that he drank the oil in desperation and Quantum had him assassinated because he gave away their secret information to M16 via interrogation.Amalric cited politicians like Nicolas Sarkozy and Tony Blair, as inspiration for this character's public charisma beneath a sinister smile.
