Desiree appears on the scene as Clark, Pete, Chloe, and Lana's new science teacher. After Clark sets a fire with his new found heat vision in her class, he finds out that Desiree is Lex's fiance, and will be marrying him the next day. Little do Lex and other citizens now that Desiree is a meteor-freak who was having sex at the time of the meteor shower and now has the ability to hypnotize men with her pheromones, a certain smell that attracts men to women, and vice-versa. It doesn't work on Clark when she tries to hypnotize him and he realizes something is wrong. Desiree tells Clark not to tell, but makes it known to Lex herself that Clark was flirting with him. She threatens Clark by framing him for a car fire. She captures the attention of the unwilling Jonathan Kent and convinces him to murder Lex. He almost does, but Clark steps in, forcing him out of the trance. Desiree attempts to kill Lex by setting him on fire but Clark puts it out. Show less «
