Crosby Braverman (Dax Shepard)Crosby Braverman is the second son of Zeek and Camille Braverman. He is a brother to Adam, Sarah, and Julia. He is the father of young Jabbar.For most of his life Crosby has coasted through on his charm, good looks, and sense of humor. He works as a record producer, hangs with artists, drinks and smokes pot and generally has a good time without committing to anything in particular. While his girlfriend Katie has been pressuring him to pop the question, the brakes are put on that and Crosby's whole life when old girlfriend Jasmine Trussell shows up with a five-year-old boy named Jabbar, Crosby's son.Although Crosby is ill-equipped to care for a child he is inspired to have Jabbar be part of his and his family's life. He seek guidance from his parents and siblings and hopes to do the best he can.Crosby is particularly close with his brother Adam with whom he shares a love of music and on whom he depends for all manner of assistance.He also hopes that if he can convince Jasmine to give it another try, they can be a family. But Crosby clearly still has some growing up of his own to do.
