William Xifaras was born in raised in Massachusetts; primarily the city of New Bedford, and later Boston. He is of Greek-Armenian ancestry. The son of Beatrice Keshian of Medford, MA and Michael Xifaras of New Bedford, MA. He graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's in Management, where he also played some football. Initially was introduced to film acting as an extra on Paul Blart: Mall Cop. There he met an actor advising him to take film acting classes. After years of taking numerous scene study, acting and film classes, the auditions began to come in. Bill's first principal role was in Warner Brothers' The Town as a correction's officer. But due to his 5 year incarceration in MA state prison (Intimidation of a Witness), they had to recast him. This time as an undercover FBI agent in a scene that was ultimately edited out of the theater version. Some good did come of this though: Being cast as a principal immediately allowed him into the SAG union.The next principal roles he filmed included 20th Century Fox's The Heat opposite Sandra Bullock; followed by Sony Pictures The Equalizer opposite Denzel Washington, and then Universals' Ted 2 opposite Seth MacFarlane. Most recently he played opposite Frank Grillo in Netflix's Wheelman. Some of the director's he's worked with include Ben Affleck, Paul Feig, Antoine Fuqua,Seth MacFarlane, and Jeremy Rush. Actor's he has worked directly with include Ben Affleck, John Hamm, Sandra Bullock, Harvey Keitel, Denzel Washington, Seth MacFarlane, and Frank Grillo. In addition to film, he works in the Voice Over business.Spent years talking to at-risk youth about the importance of education and goals. Bill donated his time traveling to various schools and groups that would request him; such as public schools, after-school groups, and social programs aimed at youth. Causes such as child welfare, education, homelessness, and children in foster care, have been and continue to be, a priority to him.
