Wayne Miller made his professional debut as Will Parker in a dinner theater production of Oklahoma!. He followed that with starring roles in stage musicals for more than 20 years. His favorite roles include Billy Bigelow in Carousel, Chuck Baxter in Promises, Promises, Billy Flynn in Chicago, Warbucks in Annie, Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun, Georges in La Cage Aux Folles, Peron in Evita, Mack Sennett in Mack and Mabel, and Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He paused briefly in the late 1980's to film Tongs: A Chinatown Story and to appear on the CBS-TV daytime drama, The Guiding Light. For 12 seasons, he was the host of Time Warner Cable's award winning academic game show, Cranial Crunch which was cablecast daily in the New York market. He has returned to film and television, with appearances in The Dockside Duel, A Conversation with Norman, Thanksgiving, Mozart in the Jungle, Madame Secretary, and The Wizard of Lies.As a stage director, he helmed the New York premiere of Steven Dietz's comedic thriller, Yankee Tavern, as well as a successful revival of the staged version of To Kill a Mockingbird, and an aeward winning revival of The Andersonville Trial.
