Tyrone Betters is a rising star that's sitting on the horizon, set to start shining bright at any moment. Betters, who some would say is an 'actors, actors,' is making a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Whether its acting or modeling, he is accepting the challenge full on. Betters, who was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, began showing an interest in the industry as a first-year student in college. He took an interest in modeling and quickly started securing gigs for magazine and print ads. "I enjoyed the opportunity; it was fun, and I got to keep all the great clothes. It was not an area I thought about pursuing early on, but I'm happy that I did," says Betters. After several years of modeling, Betters decided to try acting. With the help of his mentor, Willie Johnson, he began taking acting classes to hon his craft. In 2008, he went full speed ahead and started booking a few commercials and landed a few roles. "The acting gigs started out pretty slow, but I knew I had to pay my dues, so I did a lot of background and stand-in roles, explains Betters. After a few years of paying his dues, it wasn't long before Betters started to make a little noise. In 2014, he landed a role on the popular reboot show, "Dallas." "I was excited about this, because of the show name itself; I'm from Dallas, landing my first role on the show Dallas." Once he got his feet, he never looked back. Things picked up for Betters in 2018, after being casted in "Murder Made Me Famous." In 2019, he starred in "The Price of Fame" and "Peter", both TV series. Although he was making strides acting, he still pursued modeling jobs. He has modeled for clothing brands such as FalahX, Humble Flourish, Five Three Nine, Flexaveli, Drawls, and Eaden Myles to name a few. Betters continues to make his mark in the industry. He recently starred on an episode of TV One's "Fatal Attraction" and wrapped the indie project, "Smears: The Series." Future projects he has coming include "No Better Love," "Hooper Movie," "A True Christmas" and a Lionsgate feature, "Unbreakable Boy." Not limiting himself to the big and small screen, Betters can be seen in a few upcoming stage plays, "A Secret Lie in Love" as well as "Soul Purpose." In his spare, Betters spends his time between Dallas and LA, and he loves to travel. Tyrone Betters, a star that is set to shine bright and only get 'better.'
