Travis Dunn is a Houston-born extrovert whose family has lived and toiled in Texas since the 1800s. Many of his younger days were spent (and misspent) in Louisiana-Lafayette, New Orleans, Minden and Shreveport, where dozens of his fun-loving cousins reside. Travis has worked in construction, real estate and bartending, but his true passion is the film world. His first acting gig came in 2012, which quickly led to more roles in independent shorts (and a Best Actor award), independent features, network television and major studio releases. See his filmography. It was his aunt, Wanda Warner, who encouraged Travis to pursue his dream of acting. She is an award-winning WGA screenwriter who has penned screenplays for Hollywood film and network television producers and a journalist with bylines in The Washington Post, International Herald-Tribune and more. A writer himself, Travis both wrote and produced several short films which garnered him awards for Best Picture and Audience Favorite Film. His shorts include "Appetite for Affliction" (writer/producer/actor), "No Vacancy" (writer/ actor) and "The Lost" (writer/co-producer.) Known for his sense of humor and irrepressible desire to captivate an audience on or off screen, Travis is always on the lookout for a good punchline. He's also usually looking for adventure, be it racing cars, jumping out of airplanes, white water rafting or hang gliding.
