Tommy Guiffre was born in Brooklyn in 1975. His passion for acting started as a boy, but he never followed his dream in his youth. His father left when he was 13 and Tommy took to the streets of Brooklyn. Growing up as a white male in tough housing projects in East New York, acting seemed like an impossible dream. Seeing his close friends going to jail and losing their lives to street life, Tommy decided to follow his dream of acting. He wrote a feature length script (Brooklyn Bound) about the hard upbringing he had. After a few drafts, he met Rich Devaney who would then co-write the script and later direct it. Brooklyn Bound premiered at the Tribeca film festival in 2004. The film recieved a great review in variety and helped Tommy to land a great manager.
