Sheril Rodgers grew up in a large Hispanic family offering many "characters" with which to draw from in her work in films, on stage and in her songwriting. Sheril's comedic timing and improve skills were honed in musical theatre and she is often cast in roles portraying strong women bringing a level of energy to both dramatic and comedic projects. Combined with experience in fight choreography and dance, Sheril is many times cast in action roles.The highlight of Sheril's musical career was touring and singing back up for legendary Country music artist, Merle Haggard and while working with Merle, she co-wrote one of his biggest hits "Let's Chase Each Other Around the Room Tonight"; earning her a BMI Millionaire award.
