Local success in the Kansas City music scene led to the beginning of a career in the arts. He performed throughout the country and in 2004 arrived in NYC where he expanded his creative endeavors to include the art of the actor/writer/director. He won the prestigious LaGuardia Performing Arts Center Playwright Grant Award in 2007. From there, he continued to perform music as well as produce, write and direct 26 sold-out performances of Off-Broadway plays. Acting in several of his own plays soon led to small roles in TV and then indie movies. A lead role in the dark comedy "Quick to Duck" received a wide release through Cinema Epoch. Playing opposite of Steve Guttenberg of Police Academy fame lead to a move to Los Angeles. He recently wrote and directed the action dark comedy "Guitars and Guns." Starring and Chuck Zito and Jake Busey with music from Joan Jett and Sonic Rebellion it's set for release in 2018. Robin's first novel and Audio book published on Kindle in 2017 titled "Whiskey God."
