Raised by a family of musicians and artists, Rachel has always been a performer. She began the violin at age 4 and was singing on stage at age 6. She has played semi-professionally with orchestras along the east coast. While studying everything from Finance to Jewish Mysticism at Boston University, Rachel discovered spoken word, the art of poetry performance. After years of performing feature shows and winning poetry slams, she realized it was time to write a one-woman show. Life in G was written and performed with the help of Darius Frowner at The Duplex Theatre. The joy and acclaim from the one-woman show was the catalyst for Rachel's career as an actress and singer. Through classes with Mary Setrakian, Rachel was inspired to start training at Black Nexxus. Under Tom Brangle's coaching, Rachel blossomed as an actress. She hit the ground running and hasn't stopped since.
