Olivia Baseman is an American actress, singer, writer, and producer. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. As a child she studied classical voice and worked in regional theatre, appearing in many musicals. She is a graduate of The Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City. Olivia's first TV role was in the iconic "Rick James" skit on Chappell's Show. Olivia has worked extensively in NY Theater and is a member of the acclaimed experimental theater company Gemini CollisionWorks. Olivia co-created (with her husband, photographer Mark Veltman) the independent art/culture/fashion magazine Joy Quarterly for which Olivia wrote, and served as managing editor.
