Nicole Collins was born and raised in Alexandria, La where she developed a passion for the arts at a young age. Nicole obtained several roles in middle and high school plays, cheered for 6 years and co-hosted a teen talk show while in high school. Nicole always loved New Orleans for its traditions, culture and opportunity so her decision on which University to attend came easy. Nicole began Dillard University in August 2005. While there she hosted many events, helped restore the campus radio station, developed two on-camera TV shows, marketed for B.E.T. networks and interned for New Orleans number one rated radio station WQUE, Q93. In 2008, after many months of hard work and dedication Nicole became the newest on air personality for Q93. Nicole held down the highly rated Q93 Sunday Morning Slow Jams for two years and hosted mid-days and nights on CCNO's CHR station KVDU, Voodoo 104.1, Surpassing ratings expectations for both stations. She also Emceed LSU Lady Tiger Basketball games for the 2010-2011 Season. In 2011 Nicole created Q93 TV for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment New Orleans. The episodes include exclusive interviews with prominent artists and coverage of events. Nicole continues to drive the project into an integral part of the company. In December 2011 Nicole became the New Orleans Hornets emcee. That same month Nicole landed a recurring role in the 3rd season of the hit HBO series Treme; she appears as Patrice Glover. Nicole can be heard hosting a highly rated Saturday slot on Q93. She is going into her 3rd season as emcee of the now New Orleans Pelicans and she is traveling with the stage play Hip Hop Is Alive. In January 2014 Nicole can be seen portraying the role of Rachel in Steve McQueen's Twelve Years a Slave. Her experience and personality has given her the opportunity to host several events for esteemed organizations including the Super Bowl and WE-TV.
