Natasha Chandel is an award-winning creative executive, performer and overall funny girl based in LA.A former content producer and writer at MTV News in New York City, the Toronto native is a graduate of Ryerson University's Radio and Television Arts program. She has interviewed some of the biggest superstars in the world -- from Grammy-nominated Macklemore to Bollywood's Priyanka Chopra to "Say Something" chart-toppers A Great Big World.Natasha has gained acclaim for creating, writing, directing and starring in the hit web series, "Mumbai Chopra: Misadventures of an It Girl" which has accumulated over half a million views. The coming-of-age comedy follows the antics of Mumbai Chopra - the sweet yet materialistic daughter of a spiritual guru who endures a video scandal and haphazardly finds enlightenment in her life. Natasha has helmed 3 seasons, 28 episodes of the series she says is like " 'Clueless' with a dash of culture."She is currently in post-production of her second series "The Can", an edgy family comedy about two neighbors who escape the madness of their homes by taking a daily man-date at the trash can at the foot of their driveways.Natasha began her performance career in theater and improv at the age of seven and, has since, performed lead and principal roles in various film, television, theater and new media productions. Natasha's work has screened at over 15 film festivals worldwide, aired on the Sundance Channel and even in-flight on Air Canada. She takes pride in her versatility, having brought to life a gamut of characters including fifteen-year-old dreamer "PRIA", a seductive intern in the TV pilot "27 East", a hipster in HBO's "How to Make it in America", a young bride in CBC's "11 Cameras", a sexy madam in SoapNet's "MVP", and a misfit soulmate to Ally McBeal's Gil Bellows in "HAPPENchance", to name a few.If that's not enough, Natasha was a dancer/instructor with the world-renowned Shiamak Davar Institute for over eight years, having performed alongside Bollywood legends Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and more.Having dedicated her life to her craft, it is no surprise Natasha was identified as a "leading Protégé for creativity" by Lancôme, featured in the Mille Femmes photographic exhibition honoring 1000 of the most creative women in the city of Toronto.
