Mike McColl was born in Atlanta, GA and grew up in Greensboro, NC. Always active in the arts, he knew he wanted to pursue a career in entertainment. After graduating from Ferrum College and managing a radio station in the small blue-ridge mountain town of Stuart, VA for three and a half years, mike moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After graduating in 1998, he started a theater company and began pursuing work in film, tv, stage and voiceover. his first on-camera break came after his first professional audition. he landed the title role in an MTV comedy pilot called "normal joe". it blended live-action with stop-frame and CGI animation.his first big voiceover break came when he landed the campaign for a spike lee produced film called, "love and basketball". since that time, mike has voiced countless movie trailers and tv promos.in addition, mike is very active in the LA theater scene. he works primarily with Circle X and the Echo theater companies.he enjoys sailing and playing tennis.mike lives in Studio City, CA with his wife, two daughters and three dogs.
