Michael Adkins is an LA-Based professional actor, singer/songwriter, dancer, and vocal arranger from Philadelphia, Pa. At the age of ten, Michael started singing and touring with the prestigious "Keystone State Boychoir" and while there, did two international tours which catalyzed his passion for acting. This led him to the Creative and Performing Arts High School of Philadelphia where he received his diploma in theater arts. Within the city-wide area, however, Michael began acting in local theaters which led him to play young Nelson Mandela in the Broadway reading version of "Mandela the Musical" featuring Norm Lewis as older Mandela. Transitioning from Philadelphia, Michael relocated to Chicago to further his acting career and collegiate studies at Columbia College Chicago. With much passion, he seized a myriad of roles and opportunities in both local and regional theaters which resulted in three award nominations as lead actor and one Jeff award for best ensemble. He has also begun to add TV and film credits to his resume by securing roles on "Empire", "The Chi" and more. Fast forward to 2021, Michael Adkins relocated to Los Angeles where he is currently working on film, music, and songwriting. Dated 03-24-21
