Melvin Bowser Jr aka Mell Bowser, was born & raised in the city of Bryan/College Station Texas. At a very young age he showed signs of becoming an entertainer. During family sleep overs he would entertain his cousins by acting out lyrics to their favorite songs. It wasn't until 2010 that Mell figured out his calling was to be an actor after attending an open call for a talent showcase. He was given a script to perform in front of room full of people. It was the first time he had ever done any form of "acting" publicly. After he goes on stage and performs, the crowd erupts in applause to Mell's surprise. As he goes to sit in his seat an elderly man leans over and says, "We're gonna be watching you on the big screen one day." It was from then on Mell knew what he was to do with the rest of his life. After serving a small stint in the US NAVY, Mell went back home and was chosen to be apart of Nikki Pederson's Talent team to travel to LA and compete in a talent showcase. Mell ended up sweeping the competition winning 1st in all acting divisions and also taking home "2012 IMTA Actor of The Year". The competition sealed his mind on what he was to do next. In May of 2012 Mell packed his bags and headed out west to pursue his acting career. In less than a year Mell acquired an agent, manager, and was able to book his first television role on FOX.
