Born on Long Island, NY and raised in Princeton Junction, NJ, Megan grew up on the stages of the McCarter Theatre and the Princeton Ballet. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia with her Master of Teaching and BA in Theatre, Megan moved to New York to begin her career in entertainment. After working in NYC & regional theatre, independent film, and daytime dramas, she moved to Los Angeles and quickly started to accrue network, cable and pilot credits. She has guest starred in both sitcoms and dramas on CBS, ABC, NBC, TNT, Showtime, Lifetime and Nickelodeon.Back in NYC, Megan originated numerous roles, including world premieres at the Cherry Lane Theatre, the Abingdon Theatre Company, and Manhattan Theatre Source. In LA, Megan has continued to remain engaged in her theatre roots with lead roles in Bert V. Royal's Dog Sees God (ensemble nominations -LADCC, LA Weekly & GLAAD Awards), the world premier of Confessions of a Catholic Child, and Too Much Mustard's The Baby Dance.Megan continues to study study in the Master Class at Warner Loughlin Studios, where she also serves as Director of the Teen and Foundation Programs and a staff coach. Additionally, she manages a successful tutoring business, servicing students K-12 throughout Los Angeles and utilizing creative instructional methods and strategies to help her students master concepts, lower anxiety, and gain confidence in the classroom.In addition, Megan is a busy writer and producer with several new television projects in development, including an hour drama and a true crime limited series with Scott Winant, as well as a military comedy (ATX finalist). Her ½ hour comedy "Lick It", with creator Bert Royal ("Easy A") sold to a major cable networkMegan lives in Burbank, CA with her husband, Stuart Ambrose, their daughter, Mackenzie and their son, Huck.
