Matt Purdy is a Toronto Based Director/Writer/Producer known for small roles in feature films such as "The Incredible Hulk" and " Mean Girls" as well as for directing the award winning short film, Alegra and Jim and the soon to be released feature film White Night.After graduating with a Computer Science Degree, Matt instead decided to pursue a creative life, first exploring acting and then all aspects of filmmaking. He eventually started Multiname Productions with his two producing partners, a company dedicated to telling compelling stories outside the bloated Hollywood infrastructure.Matt has Produced or Directed over a dozen short films that have played in countries around the world, and written several screenplays that have made it to the later rounds of prestigious screenplay competitions.His most recent work, White Night, is an ambitious feature film shot over one night by five different directors, and is set to release in 2017.
