Marianne Bourg is a Luxembourgish-French actress. She started acting at the age of 12: first at her school's theater company and later joining Luxembourg's National Conservatory for Drama at age 15. After high school, she took acting classes at Cours Florent in Paris while attending university. Marianne first studied Business and Finance in France, then Drama and Classics at the University of Cambridge. She later traveled around Asia and settled down in Cambodia where she worked in a non-profit organization in partnership with UNESCO. Realizing very soon that her passion for acting was calling too strongly for her to pursue a career in finance, she moved to the United States and started a full-time acting career. After completing her MFA in Acting for Film in Los Angeles in 2013, Marianne made her feature film debut in the movie Wizardream with Malcolm McDowell and in Helicopter Mom where she worked along Nia Vardalos and Jason Dolley. More recently she starred in the feature film, Road Wars, directed by Mark Atkins and the Japanese movie, Gun Woman, by director Kurando Mitsutake, which have both won international acclaim. Marianne has also appeared in many TV shows, such as NCIS, The Middle, Sangre Negra, Awkward and Angie Tribeca. In early 2015, Marianne won the award for Best Actress at CMF for her role in the movie Snake Eyes. The movie was later invited to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2016, Marianne was once again invited to attend the Cannes Film Festival for the movie Happy Tree and Plaything.
