Kerry-Ann is a native of the beautiful island of Jamaica. She moved to the U.S with her family in the 90's, in search of the American dream. She completed the arduous Pre-Medical Magnet program, graduated with honors and in the top 10 percent of her class at Ely High school in Pompano Beach FL. While in college, Kerry-Ann enrolled in an Improv class where her love for the arts was sparked. After spending time in the theatre department learning how to build and strike sets and manage stage plays, Kerry-Ann switched her path from becoming a Pediatrician and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. She relocated to California with her husband Delwin, now a SgtMaj in the Marine Corps. They currently reside in Southern California with their 3 gorgeous boys and their family dog Chip.Blessed with the opportunity to live in a state where she not only pursues her passion for acting, Kerry-Ann finds herself working behind the scenes from script writing and casting to producing. After working on multiple award winning films and web series, Kerry-Ann's ability to successfully see a project from start to finish, propelled her to start her own production company. She is the Founder of Ellington Productions. Their mission is to develop and produce memorable and inspiring film, television and digital content."My favorite movies of all time are "The Sound of Music" and "Ever After." Two very different movies from different eras but both have two things in common, love and compassion. Who doesn't love a great love story filled with overcoming vast obstacles using compassion? Love and compassion is what pulled me to these movies initially and it's what keeps me going back to watch them over and over. My goal is to create projects that will trigger the same reaction."Besides being on production sets, Kerry-Ann lends a hand to various organizations in support of military families, as well as youth mentorship. Working as an Event Manager for the Semper Fi Fund, an organization that provides financial assistance to wounded and critically ill service members and their families has been extremely rewarding for her.
