Karen was born in Atlanta, Georgia and has lived there most of her life. At the tender age of 10, she began writing, directing and starring in plays for her elementary school. When she started middle school, she began participating in school productions earning the coveted lead roles and singing solos. From that point on she knew that her passion was acting. Karen continued pursuing her dream in local playhouses as well as in school. After she graduated high school, she landed some work in the movie Fled and on the television show Savannah. Unfortunately there wasn't enough acting jobs in Atlanta to live off of so she focused on the business world for awhile. During this time she met her husband and became a stay at home mom to two beautiful children. In 2004, they moved to Las Vegas for her husband's job. In August of 2010, Karen earned a spot as a contestant on Wheel of Fortune. Being on stage on front of the camera brought all of the feelings she had put away for 10 years to the forefront. She knew that it was time to pursue her dream again. Since then she has appeared in several movies, television shows and commercials. She is working with the hope and determination to make her dream a reality.
