John Hedges has worked as a professional actor in theatres around the country and in film since 1994. Past stage work includes productions at Dobama and Mamai Theatre in Cleveland, Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Indiana Repertory Theatre, the American Stage Festival in New Hampshire working opposite Academy Award-winner Olympia Dukakis, the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, Music Theatre of Louisville, the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles and numerous productions Off Broadway and at Town Hall in New York. Mr. Hedges was a member of the Resident Acting Company at the historic Barter Theatre in Virginia for ten seasons performing in over sixty shows. He received his training from the Professional Theatre Training Program at the University of Delaware, the National Shakespeare Conservatory as well as HB Studios in New York. Awards include a BroadwayWorld Best Actor Award for the Cleveland premiere of God of Carnage, the Cleveland Critics Circle Special Recognition Award for his performance in Heartbreak House and a Best Supporting Actor Award from the SA International Film Festival for the independent film Freedom.
