Jessica Sirls is an actor born and raised in Southern California. Upon receiving her journalism degree from Boston University, she found herself in front of the camera as a small-town Television News Reporter. It was there that she discovered her love for storytelling. A dynamic performer, her passion for acting and other arts -including dance and karate- led her back home to Los Angeles. She has a black belt in karate and has been studying martial arts for 15 years.Jessica has gained success acting in independent films and commercials. One of her earliest credited roles was a lead in 72 Beats (2013). The film, in which she acted in and produced, was selected for the Newport Beach Film Festival. Afterwards, was a guest-star appearance on the award-winning TV show The House on South Bronson (2013). Her quirky charm has frequently landed her comedic roles, most recently a recurring spot on the TV series Just Us Guys (2014).Next up for Jessica is a major motion picture. She was recently cast as the lead in the big-budget feature The Reason (2015) based on the best-selling novel.Jessica is a big supporter of the children's literacy program BookPALS where she volunteers her time by reading to local elementary school children. On her days off, you can find her in the kitchen making homemade granola for her friends or challenging her dad to a game of Scrabble.
