Jeff Albertson was born in Bloomington, IN, in 1963. After serving 8 years in the Navy as a pilot rescue swimmer, deep-sea diver, and survival Instructor, he attended Indiana University. At college he majored in Physical education, as well as working for the University Police Dept. Jeff became interested in acting after doing a community theatre production of "Rumors" by Neal Simon. Originally doing the play as a lark with his oldest daughter, Jeff was soon bitten by the acting bug. 14 plays later he had the opportunity to do some featured extra work for the film "The Dark Knight". A natural and very physical actor, Jeffs military experience, athletic background (he played semi-pro football, went to a world championships in power lifting, competed in strongman, highland games, as well as sprint-ironman distance triathlon) helped give him a leg up for parts in various professional productions. Acting and stunts have now been a passion of his, culminating in working 26 episodes of the Emmy award winning Showtime original series "Homeland", as actor, stuntman and stand-in for Damian Lewis. The 2014 film America employed Jeff to serve as stunt double for George Washington ( John Coopman). Jeff lives in Charleston, SC, with his Wife and two daughters. Show less «
