Hana Moon was born in Busan, South Korea where she was singing and dancing at the age of three. When she was two her mother Sangok Moon, a nurse, and her father Yousung Moon, an art professor moved to the US and settled in Philadelphia to start a new life for the family. Hana stayed behind in Korea with her grandparents till her parents brought her over at the age of five.Singing and acting has always been a passion for Hana. At the age of 9, being the only Asian in school and with her broken English, she won the role of Cinderella in her school musical. It was there she took her first acting class as an elective at their prestigious Drama Dept.
