Edmond Laryea was born in Naples, Italy and raised in Emilia-Romagna a region in northern Italy. His Mother Patricia was born in Nigeria, while his father Emmanuel was born in Ghana. He lived in Italy for 9 years and spent a year in Nigeria. Edmond has 7 siblings, 4 brothers and 3 sisters, and shares the same parents with just one, his younger sister Edna. While residing in Italy he grew up playing soccer and quickly became one of the best players in his league. In 1998, he, his mother and sister moved to Brooklyn NY, followed by a move to Staten Island 2 years later. Once reaching the high school level, Edmond started playing football and slowly rose to be one of the best players in the State of New York. He received a football scholarship to Rutgers University where he studied Communication and Labor Relations. He was sidelines for 2 seasons with an ACL tear to each leg, but recovered from both injuries and was granted a 6th year of eligibility by the NCAA. He attended Rookie Mini-Camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013, and worked out for a handful of CFL teams. Upon graduation, he started working at CBS Sports on their production team, and held multiple freelance roles at companies such as SNY, YES Network and WFAN. He has served as an on-air talent for IMG Radio covering Rutgers football games and Verizon Fios covering High School games in the tri-state. He got his big break in the movie industry in 2018 on the movie "Paterno" where he was cast as a football player and stunt actor. Edmond resides in New York City. Show less «
