Dharini first appeared on screen as a series lead in the critically acclaimed television series "Metropia", which introduced the most multi-ethnic television cast ever seen in Canada. She can be seen on stage, television and in a handful of films, and she continues to lend her voice to various media and gaming projects. As a writer, she has a short story published by HarperCollins Canada and in 2016 she co-wrote and co-produced her first short film in 8 weeks with her production company, Light the Girl Productions. Dharini interned at the off-Broadway Irish Repertory Theatre in NYC, holds a B.A. in English from Trent University, a B.F.A. Honours in Acting from York University, and a Certificate of Psychodynamic Studies.
