Dawson Dunbar was born on July 14th, 1999 in Calgary, Alberta. He followed his brother's footsteps, Talon Dunbar, and started auditioning at the tender age of 3. He quickly began booking commercials and Made for TV films. At age 7 he was signed with a Vancouver Agent and shortly thereafter, Dawson was given the opportunity to pursue larger markets where he was auditioning for local print ads, commercials, film and TV.Some of Dawson's television credits includes guest spots on Smallville, SuperNatural, Men in Tree's, Aliens in America and Psych. One of Dawson's first made for television movie appearance's includes Touch the Top of the World where he had the opportunity to film with Peter Facinelli. Dawson can also be seen in many music videos and web series.Dawson's award list begins with him winning Best Male Performer in the Fall 2010 at the Vancouver Short Film Festival (VSFF) for a Pro Short Film for is Role as Billy in the Short Film Trolls. Dawson also takes home 2 Young Artist Awards for Best Male Performer under the age of 10 for his Roles of Johnny in a UBC Short Little Big Kid in 2011 and for Joey in the SFU Short Bred in Captivity in 2012 from Los Angeles.Many of Dawson's Films are Circulating in Festivals Right Now.Dawson enjoys participation in Hip Hop dance and Parkour, reading books, bike riding, video gaming and watching anime programs.
