Cristo Fernández is a Mexican actor & filmmaker born in Guadalajara, Jalisco. After finishing his degree in communications back home in UNIVA GDL, he pursued his career as an Actor, and in 2016 studied a master degree at the Guildford School of Acting from the University of Surrey in the UK. Being fluent in various languages including English, German, French, Italian and his mother tongue, Spanish, has allowed Cristo to work in projects in Mexico and abroad, both on stage and on screen.In 2017, he started his film company "Espectro MX Films." His most successful film to date is "Fuera De Serie" (2017), winner of the awards for "Best Short Film Production & Direction" at the "Premios Latino 2018" in Marbella, Spain. The film is based on the real life story of Guillermo González Camarena, inventor of the color television.Before becoming an actor, his professional career began as a soccer player and as of 2020 he returns to his first love, playing "Dani Rojas," a charismatic, good hearted, & talented footballer, on the Apple TV+ web television comedy series "Ted Lasso", starring Jason Sudeikis and produced by Bill Lawrence - DOOZER Productions in association with Warner Bros.
