Corey Wayne Wadden was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of Joanie Wadden, and John (Steele), and is the second of two children. His mother and father are of English, Scottish and Irish ancestry. The family separated when Corey was in his adolescent years and, as a result, re-located over a dozen times by the time Corey reached his senior year in high-school. Corey attended Bluevale Collegiate in Waterloo, where he excelled in Drama and Fine Arts.Corey first performed songs from boy bands in front of elementary classrooms with fellow classmates. He caught the performance bug and continued for a time in his elementary years. Coming from humble beginnings, Corey would watch movies as a form of escapism. This led to his lifelong passion for film.In 2012, his mother lost her job. Corey deferred his acting training to set off on a two-year challenge to earn enough money to financially retire her. This led to international press, and a documentary. While, as of now, Corey hasn't been able to accomplish the feat, he surprised her with her dream car in August of 2014.As of 2014, Corey has been training at Armstrong Acting Studios and Pro Actor's Lab in Toronto, Ontario.
