Conner Marx graduated with a B.A. in Drama from Vassar College in New York where he also performed as a fire juggler and acrobat in the Barefoot Monkeys Circus Troupe. Outside the States, Conner apprenticed in classical drama, dance, and puppetry at the Darpana Academy in Ahmedabad, India, and later developed and toured an original adaptation of Malaysian folktales in Kuala Lumpur. Since returning to the US, he co-founded New Noise Performance, a physical theatre company based in New Orleans (where he also learned to make a mean jambalaya as the sous-chef of a Creole deli) before focusing on film and television.On screen, Conner is best known for playing the Cosmonaut, a fan favorite of SyFy's Z Nation. Other TV credits include a recurring role on the Emmy Award-Winning Biz Kid$, TNT's Leverage, and the new Freeform series, Famous in Love. He can also be seen in the features Lucky Them with Toni Collette and A Bit of Bad Luck, opposite Cary Elwes. Conner's films have played at TIFF, Tribeca, SIFF, Comic-Con, and dozens of other festivals worldwide. Most recently, If There's a Hell Below, which he also produced, premiered at Slamdance.
