Christian Michael Cooper was friendly and outgoing from the moment he was born. Upon the wise counsel of others, his mother pursued the avenue of commercials for her spirited infant, and he booked his first at the age of 13 months. Commercial bookings continued to stream his way, and at the age of 5, Christian landed his first recurring role on the TV series 'Cult'. In spite of his tender age, Christian was unafraid to confidently express himself when necessary, and the cast and crew are said to have greatly enjoyed working with such a 'veteran'.While continuing to amass a constant surge of credits on various hit shows (including 'Bates Motel' and 'Wayward Pines'), Christian was cast in the critically acclaimed short film 'Sidekick', in which he starred alongside Emily Bett Rickards ('Arrow'), Josh Dallas ('Once Upon A Time') and Tom Cavanagh ('The Flash'). While the film involved long hours of filming and incredible special effects, Christian connected deeply with the drama embedded in the emotional storyline. In 2016, Christian booked a recurring role on the beloved Hallmark Channel show 'When Calls the Heart'. In fact, both he and his sister, Ava Grace Cooper, appeared concurrently on the last season, being the only brother and sister to share the screen in the show's history. In 2017's season 4, Christian's role has been developed into a greater on-screen presence with more substantial storylines. Thanks to Christian's mother for gently persuading him to accept an audition one particularly busy day, he landed his biggest role yet. Christian plays Mike Scofield, son of Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) in the new Prison Break event series on FOX. Mike has had to grow up without a father, only hearing tales of the larger-than-life myth from Sara, and Michael's brother, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and inevitably gets caught up in everything that comes with being part of Michael Scofield's life. When Christian is not working, he is often occupied with his athletic pursuits: soccer, hip hop, paddle boarding, swimming, and kayaking amongst other outdoor activities. He also enjoys the family dog, Jake, and spending time with his family and friends. At the ripe age of 10, Christian has more film and TV credits than many of his adult counterparts, but the strong support of his family is his anchor in this vigorous world of excitement and sometimes uncertainty. Wise beyond his years, Christian takes it all in stride and when you meet him there is no doubt that we will all be seeing a lot more of this bright star over the years to come.
