A native of Texas, Casey moved to Minneapolis after college to pursue theatre. During his eight and a half years there Casey worked with such companies as the Guthrie Theater, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Frank Theatre and Park Square Theatre. In addition to the Twin Cities theatre scene, he also worked in commercials, industrial videos and voice-over. Regional theatre credits include Door Shakespeare in Door County, Wisconsin, Cold Comfort productions in Castine, Maine, Fort Worth Shakespeare in the Park, and Shakespeare Festival of Dallas. In Los Angeles, he has collaborated with Chrysalis Stage, Knightsbridge Theatre, Zoo District, Celtic Arts Center Theater, various AFI, USC and LMU students, and booked Nissan, Chevrolet, Red Bull and Colonial Williamsburg commercials. Favorite roles on stage include Morrell in Candida, Septimus in Arcadia, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing and Malvolio in Twelfth Night.Casey received his BFA from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and his MFA from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He also studied at the Groundlings School and at the Michael Bofshever Studio.Not the only creative person in the family, he is the brother of country singer Zane Lewis. Show less «
