2007 winner of Alan Bates Outstanding Newcomer Award,Anniwaa is a British born actress of Ghanaian decent, the youngest child out of four. From age 6, she was scouted by renowned ballet dancer Rhian Robins, who believed her dance skills were of an exceptionally high standard and encouraged Anniwaa's parents to enroll her in to the Royal Academy of Dance. For 18 years Ballet and Contemporary dance was Anniwaa's obsession, although a dancer of a high caliber she remained focused and adamant on becoming an actress. She trained at East 15 Acting School.
