As an actress/TV personality, Alesha Renee has also been tapped by several brands to be the face and voice behind multiple campaigns, including Proctor & Gamble's "My Black is Beautiful" campaign and tour. She has been host and spokesperson for McDonald's "Men of McCafe", a national community action initiative encouraging young men to be active in their community.Alesha Reneé has been a longtime advocate for women's empowerment, sitting on various boards such as WEEN and Hip Hop Sisters, two organizations purposed in providing positive opportunities for women in the media as well as provide scholarship money for the pursuit of higher education. Alesha has contributed her time and money to advocate for women In domestically violent relationships and children of sexual abuse due to her own past experiences with both.Putting her comedic talents to good use, Alesha Reneé has studied at some of the best schools, including UCB in NY and Aaron Spiser Acting Studio, and Susan Batson, just to name a few. Having honed her skills with some of the best, Alesha Renee landed her first role as an actress in a PBS documentary, titled Slavery by Another Name (2012), proving she can do both comedy and drama.
