Adam Shippey was born on July 14 in Starnberg, Germany, to Gene and Dauri Shippey. His father's job caused the family to move to San Jose, CA, when he was 2 years old, and then to Lawrenceville, NJ, at age 10. Adam attended Culver Military Academy in Culver, IN, for high school, where he joined Company B and played varsity football. He continued his football career at Princeton University, where he obtained a degree in Economics. Adam has a younger brother, Parker Shippey, who works as a rigging electrician/gaffer in NYC.
