Season 3 deals with a new comedy as both Charles and Camilla decide to visit Middleton, and the tumultuous tensions threaten to degenerate into new violence in the lives of many. Now, Fergie and the girls go to Glastonbury, and Meghan grabs Harry in a new settlement position, and Charles vows to prove he is still handling the situation differently. The Commandments want the Duke of Edinburgh award. Megan realizes that Kate has been replaced by a robot - but who is the real duchess?.
Charles, Andy and the rest were wearing donkey jackets and waving placards around a brazier - a gag that might have worked better if Jeremy Corbyn were now Prime Minister. But laugh-out-loud lines made up for that.
As a comedy this works best when running ridiculously with make-believe rather than grappling with the real-life absurdist dysfunction we all know about.
