The Munsters is a fairly cheesy show. It's about a family of monsters that don't even make sense as a family unit...However, there's a lot of fun inside that cheese.
Aside from the fact that it embraces the traditional gender roles that were typical of the era, The Munsters is still clean, non-problematic family entertainment.
A delightful take on family values, "The Munsters" lived in a musty, old gothic home...They were a warm, loving family who just happened to be--well, er--monsters.
