This animation series follows the adventures of Adora, a vagrant young lady, who discovers a supernatural sword and goes to be princess She-Ra, as she makes a solidarity with different princesses to battle detestable. In this new season, Adora and the princesses battle to spare Glimmer.
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power has been a delight to watch from start to finish, and while this season itself earns perhaps the lowest marks of them all for me, that floor is still higher than the ceiling of many other shows.
It's so hard to end a series satisfyingly, but She-Ra accomplishes it here. The season is powerful, passionate, incredibly exciting, alternating emotional and hilarious.
This is why the amazing light that shone through this entire final season was gratifying, as someone who loves great narratives, but as someone who finds works about optimism, moral greyness, and real redemption compelling.
