Wallace University is rocked by a string of murders. All hell is about to break loose at Wallace University where, 20 years after a tragedy, a killer begins targeting the sisters of Kappa House. Part black comedy, part slasher flick, Scream Queens is a modern take on the classic whodunit, in which every character has a motive for murder... Or could easily be the next blood-soaked casualty.
Chanel prepares to continue the Hell Week festivities only to find out that Dean Munsch and Gigi... (the continually delightful Nasim Pedrad) are moving into the house for a week to keep an eye on the girls. Now, this is a plot point I can get behind.
This week's "Chainsaw" greatly decreases the mean-spirited parts, and while it's not all completely on point tone-wise (Wes and Pete may not actually know what show they're a part of), it's better.
"Chainsaw" was nevertheless filled with plenty of snarky and absurdist moments that will remain the number-one reason we come back week after week, story lines be damned.
Oh, Scream Queens episode three. What a strange, funny little episode you were. How little you developed plot. How offensive your jokes are. But how I enjoyed you.
