Season 2 opens with Samurai Jack reaching a time portal only to have Aku move it beyond reach at the last moment and meeting a wild man with extraordinary jumping skills.
Artful to the point of witty abstraction... Combine this with the lovely watercolor-style backgrounds and the show's minimal use of dialogue, and Samurai Jack becomes a beautiful, sometimes devilishly scary, dream of a cartoon.
