Mordecai, a blue jay, and raccoon Rigby are groundskeepers at a park. But these best friends are lazy and don't let their jobs interfere with their ability to have fun. Regular Show depicts their daily routines at work and usual attempts to slack off, which often result in surreal misadventures.
I'm proud to count myself among the legion of devoted Regular Show fans, happy to know that the adventures of Mordecai, the blue jay, and Rigby, the raccoon, are there to brighten up my droll Monday evenings.
It's definitely creative, but some of the fantasy violence and mildly crude humor aren't appropriate for younger viewers.But older viewers who are into creative animation will definitely appreciate the wit featured here.
With its washed-out PBS animation colors and clever character design, it has a great look, but its rhythm, sensibility, and jokes are a good couple of years behind that of Adventure Time.
