Season 6 opens with he heroes plotting to halt Hyde. This season introduces characters who had a “pause” put on their tales and as these strangers come to town, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) also develops a “mysterious side effect.”
Let's hope the writers give the terrific Lana Parrilla a really juicy, truly nefarious plot to sink her teeth into. She's the most enjoyable actress on a show that boasts quite a few strong female performances
Once loves to tell us that, heroes or villains, we all have the opportunity to rewrite our own story. It's just a shame that after five full seasons, Once Upon A Time seems to have tapped its own particular storytelling well.
For all the cliffhangers, and the sometimes campy costumes and special effects, Once Upon a Time has always been more than spectacle and cheap plot thrills; it offers a good deal of substance.
