It is a series of exciting events that we live through the Finch family, which is still struggling to survive. The series begins with Kadin Finch managing the British newspaper owned by his American father, Max, just recently. Without order, Kaden prepares to follow his father's footsteps as a real role model. Things seem to be at a critical juncture because of the self-destructive lifestyles of Kadin, which are the devastating consequences of the family's future and empire.
On paper, it smacks of quality and potential. What I didn't see coming was the extent to which it is, beneath its theatre royalty and expensive suits, completely and utterly cuckoo.
This is basically HBO's Succession minus its writing, acting, direction, wit, drama and unnerving veracity. Or, if you prefer, it's The Colbys, with added wheatgrass.
