The series revolves around the daily adventures of Harley Quinn to break things up once and for all. Harley tries to use Joker in order to be alone as Queenpin of Gotham City. It's a new and different mission for Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy and a whole host of heroes and villains, old and new, from DC Universe in a long-running conflict.
Harley Quinn isn't the PG, kid-friendly animation we're used to seeing from DC ... it's vulgar and violent. It's no-holds-barred when it comes to its dialogue and action. When Harley hits, there's blood and lots of it.
I enjoyed Harley Quinn a lot more than I expected to and look forward to fans experiencing this one as well. From the solid voice cast to the well-written stories, Harley Quinn is a winner.
Harley Quinn has the right combination of satire, character-driven humor and satisfying story elements to make it one of the funniest shows we've seen in 2019.
Add pitch-perfect comedic timing, a solid cast of comedy's hardest hitters, and inimitable chemistry presented in the form of one of the most satisfying female friendships in a long while, and you have one of the best shows of the year, easily.
With an incredibly-talented voice cast, gorgeous art design, and an affection for just how weird the world of DC Comics is, Harley Quinn is the feminist animated series we desperately need right now.
DC fans will have a great time with all the cameos and supporting appearances, and the show's creators find fun new ways to approach familiar characters.
This is a full throttle, turn it up to 11, no-holds-barred version of the character and it honestly feels exciting -- not only because it's so crass, rude, and ridiculous, but also because it's fun.
Harley Quinn is as violent as they come. But, it's also very silly and highly entertaining. Is it going to be a break-out phenomenon? No. But does it hit every mark it's shooting for with pinpoint precision? 100%.
For DC fans to animation lovers, this is the perfect show for you. Prepare for utter insanity from start to finish, and expect to be shocked and offended at every turn.
